Ephox and AI
In congratulating all the companies named to the 17th Annual Econtent 100, Theresa Cramer, Editor at EContent noted that “The names on this list are as varied as the digital media industry itself, but one of this year’s standout trends was the importance of Artificial Intelligence.”
During 2017, we continued to develop our AI solutions, leveraging IBM Watson to build the Ephox Cognitive Assistant. Our launch was one of the highlights at IBM Connect 2017 in San Francisco, and we featured prominently during the Opening General Session.
“We built the Cognitive Assistant to test whether writing could become easier by bringing existing and well developed AI technologies into the editor,” says Dr. Anna Harrison, head of UX at Ephox. “We did this by developing an extension that processes text as you type it in the editor. It analyzes your content for concepts, facts and themes and returns recommendations you can easily add to your content.”
Authors using our editor Textbox.io in IBM solutions can access AI-powered writing, today. Contact your IBM account manager to learn how Textbox.io + IBM Watson can help make the task of writing more accessible.
The future of writing with Ephox
